Programs

Seniors seek to live independently and productively as long as possible. WCC supports this goal with free home repair services for low income older adults through Project Extend, and with weekday activities, education and social opportunities through Bethlehem Senior Center.

Camp Wesley, the centerpiece of our children and youth services, provides a Christian summer camping experience focused on social skills, leadership and spiritual development in the context of appreciating God's gift of nature.

Camp Wesley

Starting back in 1944, children and youth who lack access to outdoor camping programs have experienced a residential Christian summer camp which, for many, has been a life-changing time of fun, personal growth and spiritual development. More than 10,000 Atlanta-area young people have attended through the years. Camp counseling opportunities have provided an excellent leadership development experience for many college-age students, including a number who went on to become pastors or enter other forms of ministry.

The 100-acre former site of Camp Wesley in South Fulton County has been sold due to encroaching development. A new Camp Wesley will be developed on a beautiful 300+ acre site in Meriwether County. Planning for children and youth ministries to be offered in conjunction with the new Camp Wesley is now underway.

In 2009, Wesley Community Centers, Inc. suspended Camp Wesley's traditional residential camping program and partnered with local Churches in our community to provide an effective ministry to children and youth for these changing times.
